At night I lose myself
to something much bigger than me.
It takes over my body
It takes over my dreams.
I need someone
to save me from my fears
My mind loses control
My eyes are filled with tears.
I have pushed away
Every one I call my own.
I fear I am too far lost
I have never felt so alone.
I try my best to fight them
but my demons always win.
I am fearful of the night,
that is when the evil sneaks in.
