Fear Of Being Orphanage Poem by DR. M. ABDUL MAJID AHMED

Fear Of Being Orphanage

I called a mason to construct an attached toilet
With my parents' room.
Mother requested me not to do that, saying
"How long we shall live…
Don't spend money only for those few days."
The words hurt me:
Means, I'll be orphan in a few days.
Amount of money is nothing
In comparison to more days of their lives.
If I could, I would buy days and days
And even more days to keep my orphanage
A long distance to my departure
from this to another world.

Umm! what would happen
If I die before them
And nobody cares them.
In one hand, I cannot bear to be an orphan
On the other, I cannot bear the carelessness to them
Then what would be better between
They or I die first
As I am perplexed
O! God do what one is better.
