Fear Is A Liar Poem by Oluwatosin Thomas

Fear Is A Liar

Rating: 5.0

I
It whispers in shadows,
a voice made of smoke,
Promising failure
with every word spoke.
II
It paints walls of doubt
where light should appear,
Building false prisons
to chain you with fear.
III
It says you're too broken,
too weak to survive,
That dreams are for others,
not yours to revive.
IV
But fear has no substance,
it fades when you fight,
A shadow dissolving
in truth's steady light.
V
So rise when it calls you,
don't bend to its choir
Remember this always:
Fear is a liar.
