F.E.A.R Poem by chize ryan ogunkah

F.E.A.R

Fear, the hypnotising mirage
Crippling the frame of once great men
A seemingly giant in their entourage
Stealthily penetrating their courage (judgement)
with a deception that beclouds the true reality
and exaggerates a lie with riveting deceit
You give an inch, it takes a mile
Assuming a master and its victim, the slave
If only the slave can choose to see
the imposing castles of sand at least
fortified by captivating lies of old
and a relentless ruse being sold.
a repetition that can never be mastered
unless one makes Jesus their Master
