Fear Poem by Christopher Cariad

Fear

The fear inside of me
Is a dark place of agony.
An uncontrollable numbness
That's continually fighting me.
Never letting go,
It's eating away at my soul.
Fears hold has robbed me of such joyful memories.
The pain it forced me to suffer,
The death of life it lead me to endure.
I will no longer be torn away
As I break free from fears grip.
I'll stand tall and speak out,
Nothing,
Never again
Will I let fear win.
