Fathoms Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Fathoms

in fathoms around
in fathoms around
the Ocean is vast
the Ocean it grumbles
the Ocean it growls
the Ocean it rumbles
the Ocean it sparkles
in the glare of
the sun.

telik meri
senti geri
merit seri
perint weri

in caves full of sound
in coves quiet
bubbling and clacking
and hills in the background
green
green
green

in part of the sea
where blood stains the waters
in part of the sea

telik meri
senti geri
merit seri
perint weri

you have to be quiet
you have to be lean
low profile you keep
said the waves of the
Ocean and see
and galloped their eyes galloped
slow and turning around
on seeing me.

telik meri
senti geri
merit seri
perint weri

You take the reader to the oceans, to the one that rules with the spear of ink, to gaze on the rembrantd of verse, deeply moving us. Thankyou for sharing this.
