Father And Mother Poem by Hafiz Muhammad Qasim

Father And Mother

In the midst of cry
My mother wanted to see me smile
In the midst of strange fear
My father came near me like a dear
The hugs of my mother
Her laughs and smiles
Gave me strength in the oddest of time
The laughs of my father for encouragement
once I kept my student'advice
Go to the last mile and enjoy it
Then I went faraway away from my mother
But when she was hospitalised
I became grief-worn while journeying along
One sad day I lost my father
Then I could not see him smile
One sad day I lost my mother
Then I could not see her smile
But again when I see an old man
But again when I see an old woman
Running memories of my father and mother become as true as alive
May both my parents rest in highest ranks of paradise
