Everything will perish in time, we cannot hold even a moment....! The words caged in our heart may stay for sometime and then will fly out! A remarkable write!
When the doors open, the bird flies out....very often the flight startles those around. Some never expect it....some never see it coming. This is a magnificent work.
I have returned to read this beautifully written poem again. I suspect I will return again many times in the future to read it again. I think it is because of the perfection of these two lines: I keep words As caged birds You know by now that I treasure words, I like reading the dictionary and Roget's thesaurus and mine those words and put them on the windowsill beside my computer to see them sparkle and cast rainbows across the room and the computer where I do my writing. I want to see this poem as Poem Of The Day. 10's and 10's multiplied by tens of tens! I don't know if I can rate it again since I already rated it before but I shall give it a try!
If the clouds already decided, either with wind or by time....nothing will keep them in same shape again...they will disappear like a smoke...thin...and gone
Fascinating in all its aspects- -word choice, meaning, structure, rhyme scheme. But sometimes an image or a phrase just stands out and the reader is totally captivated by it and keeps returning to it and reflecting over it- -for me it was, of course, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -I keep words As caged birds- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -WoW! This turns my imagination on, engages my brain, and taps on the door of my heart. 10+++++++++++++++++++++++
A succinct gem of a piece. At the end, there's no choice but to say goodbye. I truly admire your economy of words here but how effectively the message is conveyed. A lot said in a few words. Bravo. A huge 10.
Knoking at the door Or marks on the shore You can not hold. Nice lines.Brilliant expression. Thanks for sharing. Binaya
