Far Enough! Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

Far Enough!

Embracing himself, bracing himself,
Watching sunsets that resemble dark yellow egg yokes,
Feeling a bit hollowed out from all the many catastrophes he's been privy to,
Yet trying not to bend too far backward, or get bent out of shape
Maybe more inclined towards a lyrical bent,
Many times missing the words that hustle by
It all tracks, but he tends to tread lightly and step lively,
Avoiding anything that may at last sink him
For him, much of life hasn't sunk in, it all seems to travel beyond his mental collective,
But where he looks, it's isn't far, but that's far enough!
