Far Away Poem by Ana Liza Corpuz Nabor

Far Away

Blinking in the southwest sky
It's dimmed during the light
Unceasingly shines in the dark
Diminutive spark in the firmament
When will I touch?
Yielded by your beauty
How can I resist?
Sitting and gazing at a blank sky
Wondering why you're not out
I pressed my chest; I'm alone again
Staring at you from far away
Is like someone who turned his back
From me, he left scars
Shall I turn back
And forget you?

No, I won't.
You're my only hope.
