Fanciful Lover Poem by Diwakar Bhatt

Fanciful Lover

</>O! Dear! Let me tell you what my heartbeats say,
On the truthful words of a lover, heed you must pay.

Far from my reach but every wind from your way,
Bring the fragrance of your body to cense my day.

Every ray of the morning light as burnished gold,
Bring the warmth of your body to quash the cold.

Dusky environ of the evening welcomes the night,
Bring the sound of your hums, a soothing delight.

Every word you would say in your hearty prayer,
Bring all the blessings of god as your wish to care.

Moon from the dark sky peeps through the window,
Portray your beautiful face I always fancied I know.

Shooting stars fall from the sky as embers shiny,
Depict the pain of your heart as in teardrops many.

Night brings calm and quiet to recall the past,
Wait I will for you till I survive or the hopes last.
