Famous Failures(Acrostic Sonnet) Poem by Avik DattaGupta

Famous Failures(Acrostic Sonnet)

From time immemorial people have failed!
Anxieties engraved in the script of each life,
Moments kept counting, as absurdity trailed,
Our pillars of hope inviting a soulful strife,
Unconscious dreams cling onto fading desires,
Silent syllables start stuttering to explain,
Failures keep burning in ice cold fires!
As it becomes famous for enduring pain.
In a world of people judging without a feel,
Loving to vent despair against failed needs,
Useless numb prayers sign a divine evil deal!
Ratifying success post death of living deeds.
Endless rivers of fame flows with failed tears,
Syllables stay silent in all our flattened spheres.
