Whoa! ! ! ! This poem is so intense, David! Amazing write, yet very heart-wrenching at the same time. Felt intense anger at the mother for treating her son so badly and his girlfriend! Thought, how could she be so mean. Then the secret comes out and wrenches our hearts some more! Utterly poignant, hitting hard, just as that secret must have hit those who kept it. This is an amazing poem, it's message and story are still sitting in my mind. Thank you for sharing this poem and it's message, absolutely great write! ! RoseAnn
