Beautifully said. A worthwhile endeavor: being happy about the other person's experiences which in a way enrich our own even though we do not directly 'enjoy' or participate in them. We are all different and cannot share everything, all the difference, with any one person. So synergy is the answer: living with the both...and, and not the either....or.
