Fakir Walking Poem by Sumita Jetley

Fakir Walking

Ya Allah, Ya Razzaq, You provide with gentle hand,
Teach us contentment, in little to stand.
Like the Prophet, with modest means,
Finding richness in simplicity's scenes.

Ya Rahman, in Your mercy, humility we seek,
Guided by Muhammad, gentle and meek.
In his steps, with respect we tread,
Humility's path, where true honor is led.

Ya Karim, generous beyond measure,
In giving, the Prophet found treasure.
Teach us to share, even from little stores,
For in generosity, the spirit soars.

Ya Salam, bringer of inner peace,
In Your remembrance, worldly cares cease.
Like the Prophet, to spirituality we turn,
In simplicity, Your love we discern.

Ya Sadiq, source of all truth and light,
Grant us honesty, clear and bright.
In straightforward words and deeds to live,
Following Muhammad, who truth did give.

Ya Ghani, rich in all but desire,
From worldly pleasures, help us retire.
The Prophet's way, detached and free,
In simplicity, true richness we see.

Ya Muqsit, just in all Your ways,
Equality the Prophet would praise.
Beyond worldly ranks, in brotherhood bind,
In simplicity, equality we find Him

May be!
