I couldn't agree more with your sentiments here. And some people reckon to fall in love on Facebook. Can't understand that! I'm very tactile. So true. Too many people spend too much time with trivial matters on Facebook. However, what Marcus said is also true: it must be awesome to be able to have Facebook if you have no actual friends. Funny thing: an ad popped up on my computer the other day that said 'Four people unfriended you! ' That can't be true, since I don't have any friends on Facebook or any other site where you can 'unfriend' people.

living a life based on common interests regurgitated by advertising links on a social network is awesome if you have no actual friends. LOL it does however confirm that there are a lot of lonely people out there who desperately need some social intervention.
