Hazel, great poem! In really like the repetitive line 'fairy tales look around the dance floor and flee out the door' Your nightclub depiction was spot on.i actually wrote a poem about going clubbing in the eighties. Not as good as yours, but it's a fun little flash back. It's called ' Lisa and Sue's Night Out. Let me know what you think

As seasons and phases of life change, we begin to learn. Real love is perhaps a relatively hypothetical concept. But discerning the exterior and the interior of the available images is possible. A fine write Hazel and I give 10 marks for this unique sharing.

Excellent Hazel. Reminds me of my youth, looking for love and romance in the wrong places.

A good take on the ballroom of ''romance'.

In the hope of finding true love, the ballroom and disco dancers dance before kings of the night club, but unfortunately warmth is missing there and everything ends up as a routine chore and life there turns a bore! Great write exposing the hollowness of nightly revelries!
