Fairytale Gravestones Poem by Kelly Boutin

Fairytale Gravestones

It's a soda-pop castle
Of fairytale gravestones
Here they wait for 'ever after'
Here they try to make a home.

Make it pretty, decorate it
Frost the cemetery cake
Here's a Dixie cup of soda
Here's a slice of candy pie.

Let's celebrate our death-day,
The day we got away
With sprinkles and candy
On our coffin cupcakes.

Oh, we can't play anymore
But that doesn't mean we're not happy
Oh, we can still use our gravestones
For fairytale stories.
