Fairyland Poem by Shaun Cronick

Fairyland

Rating: 5.0

Deep in the woods away from life's sway,
Lies a fairy kingdom well hidden away.
Where peace and harmony is shared by all,
By contented fairy folk who are so small.

They live together behind a silver waterfall,
On their silk beds in a rainbow painted hall.
So merrily they sing and dance each summers day,
Their love and friendship so happily on display.

And if by chance a lost human wanders by,
All magically vanish for they are so shy.
Living forever sharing songs and splendid things,
These enchanted fairy folk gifted with beautiful wings.

What a wonderful fairytale. So beautifully written. Superb imagery as if I am stepping right into the door of this magical kingdom. Another great poem, Shaun. Onto my Poem List.
