There you were, standing so clearly,
Like you were an illusion in the daytime.
You appeared to me like an angel,
And I asked you, 'Where have you been? '

We conversed for a while,
But then my relatives arrived.
You didn't want to be seen,
And suddenly, you began kissing me passionately.
They approached and expressed their concerns,
Saying, 'Oh! It's you. I will speak to you later.'

A stranger came over and spoke discouraging words,
Claiming that you were not genuine.
You started to step away forcefully,
So I clutched your wrist firmly.

I spoke words straight from the heart:
'If you leave now, you will never see me again.'
I reluctantly let you go, and you wandered away.
When you were at a distance, you stopped and called my name.
What once felt real was never true;
Those days have now come to an end.
