******************************************************************************* My words about being no reason to look for Vitti or others, refers to the fact that I trust you. I've translated - into my native language - poems written by other authors, and I know 'first hand' that choosing the right words to make the original meaning (or what I 'feel' that an 'original meaning' can be) in a different language, is - quite often - not so easy. For such a reason I try to put myself into thinking to be translating my own poetry.. this means paying much attention not to be sloppy, so to respect another author's work. And I think that this is what you have done, translating my poetry. Right? :) *******************************************************************************

If you would be in the temptetion to see it in google's automatic translation, let me say that I had tried it quite a lot of times, but I concluded that it is only right in 20 cases out of a hundred.

I do not know whether Mario Vitti is still living. He was professor in Tusca uni. of Viterbo. He is an expert on new greek poetry.Perhaps you could come in touch with him.Send him my translations of your poems and let him you know whether my translations are good ones.

In my greek, dear Fabrizio, it keeps all its meaning found by commentators in it.It seems to balance upon certain and uncertain ambiguities, ambivalances or doubtfulness.Conscious and subconscious hints are also left to be meant.I think You should come in contact with the professor of Palermo Mondiano who is an expert on new greek poetry and ask his opinion about my translations of your poems.
