Very nice poem. Bring forth a lot of emotions and what is true in life that people don't acknowledge enough.

...i do believe on the wisdom of 'the reality of illusion- the illusion of reality' meaning most of us are good at pleasing others just to be ok at least something possitive is sparking. yet to make it a reality let us say the truth with love to help others to see what and who really they are.... your poem is a piece of cake that i would say 'i have to taste it for me to know its flavor'. thanks

Its true..what you say. But sometimes it may be the opposite too, which is not so pleasant.

Ashley, You have great depth and understanding and that is two ingredients necessary for writing meaningful poetry. Poetry does not have to conjure up beautiful images but it definitely has to MEAN something and most importantly it has to say something that touches someone. Even if it is only yourself. If it was something you just had to write or die trying. I liked your poem and I believe you have talent and should never stop writing. My regards Susan

Eyes of strength and heart of fire. I can sympathize with this one very much. Makes me want to write a poem on where my smirk came from. Well done, keep 'em coming!
