Hey, Daniel! Hope this finds you well. In answer to your closing question—as I understand it—yes, one reality and one source. Funny or strange perhaps, to the opening of the first stanza my thought went to how our hearing as well carries our perception into the distance. More particularly I think of bird sounds.
