An eye can also speak
Unspoken, hidden and painful;
Memorises the calendar over years
An inextinguishable lamp
Turns over pages, one after another;
Smile and cry and console her.
An eye can read one and all
Understands inner events;
But expresses own helplessness
Works for an invisible mirror;
Gathers the memories of now and then.
Stands as an unspoken witness
Only accepts the visible truth;
And judges reading the appearance
It can express own pensiveness
And feels others emotions; becomes piteous.
The role of a camera it plays
Not only capture the crust but the core;
Envisages the whole and store
Able to draw lines from beginning till date
And to win the hearts, it is made.
