External World, Internal Insights, And Boundary Separation Poem by Kiran Pillai

External World, Internal Insights, And Boundary Separation

Can the world be interpreted with the new light?
Do I have a new set of eyes to look at the world with?
Is it true that the world can be part of internal transformation?
Maybe the politics and science of world can mean something.

Writing my deepest writings out make me look like a page
The Tarot Page is what I become; not really a King.
Maybe that is how someone grows. By sharing and caring.
Puts me in a vulnerable position also. Am I shameful?

Just a day of putting my deepest words to the world
Puts my sense of shame to some test. Is shame always bad?
Maybe vulnerability to disclose lack of depth causes depth
Maybe this is the way that depth starts to develop within.

I understand a bit more of humanity through myself.
Maybe blogging really helps with understanding self better.
I am putting my journal writings out into the world today.
That vulnerability makes me look with fresh pair of eyes.

Yes, I am growing now. Maybe news can also be spiritual
Maybe we can grow by analysing the external world too.
Maybe poets need to be part of society too. We may learn.
Maybe external events can light up internal world too.

Is this concept of switching externals and internals too much
For the mind to see the beauty of disappearing boundaries.
Where does the external world end and where begins inside?
Maybe all of this is just a fluid space. Float and be realised!
