A cynical look at the farcical spectacle of modern day politics in America...great stuff!
Someday I won't politic anymore, my big heart will stop. I never like politics, they are so unstabkle like one's crazy mind who is now at the first place in the USA and is talking stupidly all the time. IF I were you, dear ladies, I am really disheartened, having a president below the average standard. As a poetess, I have never heard any more stupid, true imaginable how you both must have felt..CONGRATULATIONS being chosen as the MPOTD!
In world everything is beautiful But politics such a word where the good heart one always gets bad smell from inside though outside is artificially graceful!
Great work on politics. Thanks and congratulations for being selected this poem as the modern poem of the poem of the day for second time.
Politics is a slug copulating in a Poughkeepsie garden. Politics is a grain of rice stuck in the mouth of a king. satire, politics. tony
FAscinating metaphors about politics being a force of ignorance.
amazing expression on politics- Politics is a slug copulating in a Poughkeepsie garden. Politics is a grain of rice stuck in the mouth...///
Many vote only because we have to. Not supporting any of the parties. It is ridiculous the amount politicians are paid. It would be wonderful for a turn around where we stop paying half of these politicians and bring in the public for honesty. Enjoyed reading.
Politics is a slug copulating in a Poughkeepsie garden. Politics is a grain of rice stuck in the mouth What a realistic viewpoint! Loved the way you presented this master piece. Subhas
wow! does this sound up-to-date. i wonder when it was penned. and what if duhamel wrote it in the last year or so? i definitely relate, and it doesn't hurt that the locations she mentions are from the city of my birth and upbringing. -gk
It is politics. You can give it many more definitions. Very nice poem indeed.
Politics is a grain of rice stuck in the mouth......nice expression. Beautiful poem.
Someday I won't politic anymore, my big heart will stop loving America and I'll leave her as easy as a marriage, splitting our assets, hoping to get the advantage before the other side yells Very good poem. tony
