Expectations Poem by Dr John Celes

Expect the unexpected throughout your life;
Expect surprises too in earthly stay;
Expect the possible to not occur;
Expect impossible things to happen.

For, none predict what life can bring each day;
All successes don't come by mere planning;
Expect the worst, be happy life turns worse;
Expect not wins each time you do something.

Success in life is not the rule on earth;
Fortunes in life will click when right time comes;
Planning is good, perseverance is best;
Don't feel sad if things don't happen your way.

Life has its ‘ups and downs', sorrows and joys;
Any one thing makes life dreary and drab;
You weep in pain and also cry in joy;
Sadness and joy is all in one's own heart.
