This poem makes happy for the loving couples cherishing their children and for mothers who have the huge privilege to live in a certain degree of harmony. This poem makes me sad when I think of the many mothers who decide (or have to decide) to give away the fruit of their womb. It makes me even more sad when I think of those unborn lifes prematurely taken out to be thrown away. If I think about the many women who are desperate to get pregnant but do not receive this great gift from our Creator, I feel for them too. Dear Louis, great poems tend to evoke lots of emotions and this one definitely did in me. Good work.
