Kim, this is a beautiful thought. Let peace be! But madmen "happen" on earth every now and then.

Well done! A timely comment on the world. I've just finished re-reading 'The Boys in the Boat' about the 1936 Olympic games in Berlin. Your poem made me think of that.

Somebody apparently made an assassination attempt by drone on the madman the other day. Too bad they didn't succeed.

Not just one madman, a whole lot is there. The one who attacked and those who provoked. Let better sense prevail.

I pray the world responds to the needs of Ukraine---to let this generation's Hitler start taking over countries one by one like Hitler did will lead to concentration camps and horrors

We seem to be stuck with him. My worry is who will take over from him. Another madman?
