Great poem! May we heed these words and again obey our Lord whose ‘ears are open to our cries’, to devote ourselves to prayer! ! ‘The fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much! ’ ‘Teach us to pray’, Lord! ! Break us, Lord, as you did Jacob, make us dependent on Thee again! For ‘apart from Thee, we can do, nothing’. Nothing of eternal good! !
