Excommunicated! Poem by Job Ombati

Excommunicated!

What's is excommunicated?

He's to be excommunicated;
struck off,
completely struck off books.
Satan has no use of him.
He even shocks him many times!

Smoking, he does smoke;
too many cigars;
fat and thin
refined, unrefined and both.
More than any predecessor.

Cheating, he cheats;
more abundantly;
both white and black lies.
Thro' clenched teeth
and unblinking eyes.
And all, ALL
believe his lies.
Right, left and center.
But Satan couldn't believe them!

The man's a keen reader;
in secret, he reads,
a book, secret of lies.
He lies when the
mem'ry is still fresh.
Under the pillow, he keeps the book.
But Satan knows it;
he knows what's in it;
he knows where it's kept.

Satan's called a meet'ng.
He now has the book.
He's read it.
And a decision reached...!
