Excerpted From "Face Unmasked" Poem by Richard Weissman

Excerpted From "Face Unmasked"

Gaze unto me,
See 'tween owned ugly nest,
Mirror to me,
Feed shamed pity unvanquished
Solituded alienation which I rep,
connect wit me,
somewhere within your beauty,
Someways ‘yond that lies all the hideousness which you
as self must hide - mask out
look to me in my honesty
Revere my breath as legacy
Connect to me and somehow
though I am a form finite, yet ye will
Unite with the limitlessness of all
I represent.
