Shame that was once a painful emotion
Manipulated to simple brand promotion,
Conscience and ignominy is an era bygone
Political support is all they hone.
india shining...indians shine...
this reminds me of what i received from a young man the other day:
The Rupee's impotent,
In the presence of the fire god, the sins are washed and few lives are sacrificed in Mumbai, Some kid falls into a pit, another's run down by his own school bus!
the basic needs of people are neglected! The leaders secure their future, the people reserve their peanuts for the future! Cricket is the only dung we smell, AITA's Herculean task to send two teams for Olympics, who are not sure of a medal and who hate each other. Some play for the president and others fight for being the next prime minister! An athlete who was supposed to be a female rapes another female!
Ah I love this country!
Diversity, life, mismanagement, attitudes good n bad, religions, greed, etc perform an everyday orgy!
Cheers India!
shared to me by Honor'ble Indira Babbellapati on my poem uR inNDian.
we write these lines in pain not that we hate our country...we hate ourselves the act of wantedly settling in murky worlds starving....shine or not...lets be bright as one! !
