Not everything that our naked eyes see, is what they see. Good idea. But I liked these two lines of the poem, the most: 'The more they hail thou, The closer thou are to perish'!

Congrats! I think it's the only poem that has been selected as member's poem twice, Once on 17th September,2017 and now again on 18th September,2018. The poem is thoughtful.

Our two open eyes often mislead us. It prevents us from seeing the Truth. Thanks for sharing this poem with us, Shuaib Chandan

A very good read. I understand the message. Still I think that Gods own artifacts cannot be bad. It is the way we take them to feed our greed. Mohabeer Beeharry

Congrats on being the Poet of The Day, Shuaib! Indeed, inside is not always same as the outside in life. You have to be intelligent enough to know the difference.

Highly philosophical Poem! What you see through your naked eye outside may not be what you see within your inner self.

Message is simple, but the philosophical profundity it carries is enormous. This is well expounded in Buddhist teaching. Thanks for sharing.
