Everything She Touches Turns To Gold Poem by Gio Masserati

Everything She Touches Turns To Gold

Everything She Touches Turns to Gold
...and Sometimes even Platinum

I know these stories get old
But they must be told

Mostly because history tends to repeat itself

So here they are, my stories, mineral worthy
I take them down off the shelf
One by one
Maybe to you they'll be fun
To look through
Sift and sort
But for her
They are a constant reminder
...of
Pain
Unworthiness
Abandonment
Meager beginnings

But despite her story
Her past did not define her
It never would never will
She moved forward
Sometimes exhausted
Yet strong

Most Importantly She Lives

...In Grace

...because
Everything She Touches Turns to Gold
...and Sometimes even Platinum
