Sean, this is excellent. It reminds me of Simon Armetige. There is a pathos, but delivered so dead-pan. Each stanza is beatifully constructed: 4; 6; 8 lines. That is so brilliantlly thought out but also the measurement is excellently constructed. This is one of the best of these forms of poetry that I have read and shows a craftman's hand at work.
