EVERYTHING
Everything that God demanded of me
Was taken care of at Calvary
A sacrifice for my every sin...done!
My redemption was secured through Christ the Son
His sinless blood provided relief
His Resurrection in exchange for my grief
A glorified body on the other side
Gathered there with His chosen bride
I remember where He found me
And nurtured me to the Cross
My unbelief turned to belief
My sins fell off as dross
With a brand new recognition of
Praise God my Saviour lives
As my life eternal... thrilled my soul
What a Salvation He gives!
He's always been faithful to me
Though I have failed Him so
He patches up the wounds I feel
And washes them white as snow
So nearer to the Cross I cling
I know His loving compassion
And try to live accordingly
With those who believe in like fashion
In everything! ...yes in everything
I try to please my Lord
His sacrifice demands our best
In the offering of His Word
He speaks and it becomes
Everything He bids it to do
I'll continue to lift the name of the Lord Jesus
For it may mean the Salvation of you!
Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
