Everyone's Crying But They Do Not Know It

everyone's crying but they do not know it

I said to the dolls on a summer's day

the leaf on the tree and the wing of the sonnet

that fell off lightly when we were away

coming home wont make that much difference

coming home will just cause a delay

between all the words you left off saying

when you saw that the twilight was drifting away.
