EVERY DAY POEM-7
Moon
18th December 2025
(Today I got inspiration from the poem Ah, Moon—and Star! Poem by Emily Dickinson)
O Moon!
You are far away from me
But, speak to me
Do you know
How is this silence filled?
In silent words
I was talking to you
The secrets of my heart.
Have you gone farther
As I can not see you ?
Has a dark cloud
blocked your way?
I would love to see
The earth aglow
With your silvery rays.
Talk to me moon
Do you know
How is this silence filled?

This poem is gentle and sincere, with a beautiful sense of quiet longing in the way you speak to the moon. The repeated question about silence adds emotional depth, and the imagery of clouds and silvery rays is soft and evocative. Keep writing!
