Everyday Living For Jesus! Poem by Denis Martindale

From Monday to Friday and more,
That's how true love must be,
With further blessings still in store
Because of Calvary.
At least another billion prayers,
Ascending to God's Throne,
To cast our burdens and our cares
Thanks to the love He's shown.

From Monday to Friday and more,
That's all that God would ask,
Each with a mission to explore
Beyond each holy task.
Each with a destiny to serve,
Beyond gifts and rewards,
To reach the unsaved on this Earth,
To share the Lord of Lords.

From Monday to Friday and more
And not just now and then,
The King of King's worth living for
Once we've been born again.
We're Heaven-bound as preachers,
And teachers, once baptised,
Everyday living for Jesus,
Evangelists for Christ!
