Everybody Says I Am Fine



Everybody says I am fine,
When asked
How are you?

Although the heart
Is longing to share
The pain,

Its so scary
To share your story,
Lest you are mocked
For feeling overwhelmed
And shocked.

Even if it is
The dilemma
Of every human being,

We are all unique
And respond differently
To life and living.
