Yes, your Poet's Notes says it all! This is a poem of Thanksgiving without ever using the word. It expreses our hope that each one of our loved ones reaches the holiday in good health so that the celebration is complete. I was about to call this a Poem of Fate which is a word I use frequently to describe the the web of events which either preserves or (sadly) eliminates us. But you have used a more powerful word which trumps fate - it is a Poem of Miracle.
