Every Time You Smile Poem by Yousif Ibrahim Abubaker Abdalla

Every Time You Smile

I fall for your compassion when you glimpse at me. Love is patient. Love is kind.
Life smells green from
The fragrance of the love you usher.

I engage your compassion when you make me feel cherished
Every hour, I feel a good impression.

I connect your compassion when you make me smile.
You make me feel admired and beloved.
It's hidebound duds about you
That claims to me utmost.

I need to be the loving arms
You have come to an amicable tranquil
After a long journey and rough early bright.

I want to be that shoulder you cry on
Perceiving you will never be pondered.
Nor mortified for splintering down
Under the compression of life.

I behold how the wonderland
Revel every time you smile.

There is a placidity about
Your charisma that I'm not doubtless.

You are a favour in blind
And I am freaked
To be on the inheriting cusp.

There are a lot of about you
That's so angelic. You cede me clues
To poll my blessings and
Splash daily praise

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM: I'm a big fan of poetry, literature, and different forms of art. Composing poems is the only outlet for me to express my feelings and cope with life's ups and downs. I devote my spare time to writing, performing, and enjoying poetry at different events and slams. This poem was written on Tuesday, the fifth of August 2025. There's nothing quite like the feeling of being in love. When you're head over heels for someone, it feels like there's nothing you wouldn't do for them. Falling in love may be one of the greatest feelings ever. There is an actual chemical process that happens to a person who is falling in love. All of the senses have a greater intensity. Colours seem brighter, sound more resonant, and smell more powerful when you are newly in love. When you are with your lover, there is no greater feeling in the world, and when you're not, you spend all your time thinking of each other. New love is truly an awesome feeling.
