A beautiful hike, Tom Thank you for taking us with you to this most wonderful and magical place. The crunch of snow underfoot, the warm glow of windows lining the village streets, hurrying along with thoughts of hot cocoa and warm kaiserschmarrn waiting just up ahead... :)
Mutters and Natters were two magical villages, straight out of Hanzel and Gretel, my first experience of Austria some three or four miles away from and overlooking Innsbruck. The local cobbler made me some walking boots and I've never had anything on my feet so comfortable. Cocoa in the evening and frenetic card games with German and Austrian friends. In the mornings the sheer heaven of Austrian bread rolls and Apricot Jam washed down with gallons of coffee! A packed lunch, grapes and a couple of bottles of Apfelsaft and off we went galloping up the mountains or taking the Ski lift up the Mutteralm. We didn't know we were born, Seamus! And we always remembered to say Grusse Gott to everyone we passed on the way.
loving the visuals in this one Tom, once again natures palet paints a beautiful picture.... ;) Annette
