I could also feel the same while reading this poem. Wind can set in a comfortable feeling and we will be carried away by gentle winds to unknown shores of time. Great. Happy to see the selection under the Member Poem.

The breeze carried the sorrow away Into the clouds that slid over the trees, Unexpectedly; And left me alone... is so beautiful. One gets lost to the effects of nature and takes relief in its charm. So nice.

This shows how best nature can influence a turbid mind. Mostly people do not recognize the potential, nature intrinsically has in soothing human mind, but you do. Very inspiring and soothing. Thanks for sharing a wonderful poem. X

From whence the sorrow? An evening breeze may not caress the air on each and every day through the seasons during which the leaves are on the trees, but I would suggest seeking medical help if each time the event occurs through half the year it lifts some weight from your burdened heart. Otherwise, more specificity is required such that it doesn't read as some Sisyphean entanglement of eternal woe, a generalized lament from which you find some recurrent relief from an arbitrary grief through an arbitrary event. Otherwise, the scene is nicely set.

Paul Gerard Reed, Ok you are so right; circumstances and even blinding pain experiences.........in the end it is a personal choice to keep moving mentally, emotionally. that everything that had happened, or that was going to be, was down to me, just me Right on! I say it and know it but to do it, not always so easy..........Great poem. You are a new poet to me and love first writings too.............Kathy
