Even So, This Face I Adore Poem by james watkin

Even So, This Face I Adore

Palely, teary, more startling!
Effecting what's beautiful
And beneficent.
Moony, a water nymph's view!
Too, too apparent!

Drawn, know you, supernatural
Myself, lovably deeper
That coyness therein?
Of which life saving place is
Of care's own drowning!
