You erase my words
Stifle my screams
Bury me 6 ft. under
And even so I rise

You beat down my ideas
Break apart my dreams
Throw me into the abyss
And even so I shine

You do everything you can to stop me
Put up every barricade
Push me down at the start
And even so I win the race

I will rise from the heavy weight of
Disappointment
Shine brighter than the artificial lights of
Fame
Overcome every obstacle, solve every
Problem
And even so you turn away from
Me
