Evanescent Poem by Carrie Sprouse

Evanescent

a tear to run down my face
when I looked into your eyes
a word as powerful as goodbye
only made more tears

tembling in my own pain
you just turn and leave
I never thought I'd see the day
you'd throw me away

evanescent our time appeared to be
your last word remains
my tears I can sustain
I've finally moved on

Not bad though the lines keep changing displaying one idea then another
