I think the best ice cream is in Russia- but I doubt you're going there. I once asked an Italian in a little village if the water in a fountain was potable. He answered (and I quote) : Me no lika da water, me lika da wine! Ah, memories of Europe!

You are going to have a lot more fun than you think (I predict) . Or you will spend a lot more 'mon' and stink and get sick. Seriously, I hope you have a good time over there. Use the binoculars for more than just the lassies.

If you get to Edinburgh see the children's toy museum (and try not to steal anything) To meet great people do the London bed and breakfast thing. Have a brandy or equivalent every night. I do not recommend Glasgow. In England talk to the; people .... delightful.
