A great tribute and poetic biography of a figure I have not heard until now, thank you for writing in this it was really interesting to learn about someone who actively helped those outside of society.

To Val, Of course Val. A smart move to check her out. She was such a pillar, to have greatly championed the cause of the disabled, especially those with mental disabilities. And I've found the story about her sister, Rosemary (who was mentally challenged) , to be very inspiring. Thanks for your kind comment.

Had to check out who this lady was before commenting - she was obviously a wonderful person, and your poem does her justice Walt.
